Our Exploration
Projects

Ulara Resources Pty Ltd is actively managing multiple high-potential exploration and mining EPMs across Queensland, targeting gold, copper, and other minerals. These tenements are strategically located in mineral-rich regions all with strong geological indicators, historical exploration success, and proximity to major mining operations and infrastructure. Key assets include Exploration Permit for Minerals (EPM) holdings in Charters Towers and the Bowen Basin.

EPM 28673 - Sophia

EPM 28673, known as "Sophia," is located 15km northeast of Charters Towers, covering 10,000 hectares. The tenement is positioned within a structurally complex gold-bearing region, historically known for mesothermal quartz-gold veins and breccia-hosted mineralisation.

Key Highlights

  • High-Grade Gold:

    • Rock chip samples returned up to 8.5 g/t Au, with associated copper (1,000 ppm Cu) and lead (4.95% Pb).

    • Stream sediment surveys identified gold anomalies exceeding 10 ppb Au.

  • Historical Drilling Results:

    • RC drilling in nearby areas recorded up to 16m @ 8.6 g/t Au and 28m @ 2.86 g/t Au.

    • Track Pit Prospect drill holes intercepted up to 3 g/t Au in quartz-carbonate veins.

  • Untested Magnetic Anomalies:

    • Geophysical data shows two strong magnetic anomalies, possibly related to hidden intrusive-hosted gold deposits.

  • Proximity to Historic Gold Mines:

    • Close to known gold deposits, Hadleigh Castle (~0.3 Moz Au) and Charters Towers (7.1 Moz Au).

EPM 28975 - George

EPM 28675, known as "George," is a high-priority magnetic anomaly exploration target in the Bowen Basin, covering 19,000 hectares. The tenement contains one of the largest untested magnetic anomalies in the region, indicating a potential deep-seated intrusive system with high mineralisation potential.

Key Highlights

  • Large-Scale Magnetic Anomaly (3.5 km x 4.0 km):

    • A high-intensity magnetic feature that has been unexplained since its discovery in 1994.

    • The anomaly aligns with deep-seated gabbroic intrusions, commonly associated with nickel, copper, and platinum group elements (PGEs).

    • Magnetic lows surrounding the anomaly suggest hydrothermal alteration zones, reinforcing the likelihood of mineralization.

  • Structural and Geological Favorability:

    • The anomaly is positioned along major fault zones, creating ideal conditions for fluid migration and ore deposition.

    • The contrast between high-magnetic and low-magnetic zones suggests a combination of intrusive and hydrothermal mineralization systems.

EPM 28737 - Bentley

EPM 28737, known as "Bentley," is a high-potential gold exploration project covering 2,500 hectares in the Charters Towers district. The tenement is strategically located along the Alex Hill Shear Zone (AHSZ), a major gold-bearing structure associated with multi-million-ounce gold deposits.

Key Highlights

  • Exceptional Gold Grades in Surface Samples:

    • Rock chips and stream float samples returned up to 17 g/t Au (The Range) and 12 g/t Au (Banana prospect).

    • Acacia prospect assays recorded up to 14.77 g/t Au in ferruginous quartz veins.

  • Historical Drilling Results (Nearby Deposits):

    • Mt Wright (~1 Moz Au) is a deep intrusion-related breccia deposit, with gold hosted in brecciated quartz veins at depths of 300-500m.

    • The Charters Towers district has deep-seated gold mineralization extending to over 1,000m depth.

  • Geophysical Anomalies Indicate Potential Deep Gold System:

    • Strong magnetic and radiometric anomalies align with high-grade surface samples.

    • Structures in Bentley EPM are similar to nearby multi-million-ounce deposits, supporting deep drilling exploration.
